It’s important to know as much as we can about the God we worship and serve. What if we’ve been lied to about Jesus Christ? If so, what else have they missed and how can we go on supporting institutions which are based on so many lies? This all hits home with one simple question:
“Was Jesus really a Jew?”
In Genesis chapter 3 it says that “the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made.” Do you really believe that ended in the Garden?! As the prophet Jeremiah stated much later, “Surely our fathers have inherited lies.” Even more lies have been added since then and are controlling our people’s lives today. As the manipulation becomes more apparent, it’s high time we examine the shaky foundation we find ourselves upon. For our faith is all we have to stand on, in the evil day.
One of the assumed perceptions few ever think to question is whether or not Jesus was a Jew. At face value, it is accepted as a given, since He was called “KING OF THE JEWS.” Throughout history we frequently have kings and queens being referred to as ruling over other peoples they have conquered. To be called ‘the King of the Jews’ does not necessarily mean Christ Himself was one.
As we get into this study, not only do we hope to clarify the truth of this matter but should you come to a conclusion contrary to popular opinion, may it serve to emphasize how easily we always seem to be deceived on vital issues. Why is it we do not see the need to investigate such important matters?! Why do we take for granted in such dark times, that we can accept anything at face value? This is an important issue with serious implications. Yet it really isn’t that difficult to understand if one will take the time to open the Bible with a willingness to learn and think.
The word Jew is an English word and is relatively new. Understand, the letter ‘J’ wasn’t even in use until the 17th Century. Also, the Hebrew word translated “Jew” isn’t found in the first 11 books of the Bible. Obviously the word “Jew” wasn’t used in the Greek either. It was actually the Greek word ioudaios (you-day-os) which doesn’t mean Jew but Judaean or one who is a resident of Judaea.
A Judaean is a person whose home was in the land of Judaea or southern Palestine. Judaean is a geographical term such as “New Yorker” which can be someone white, black, brown, or yellow by race. They could be Christian, Jew, Buddhist, or atheist. So an ioudaios, Judaean, or Jew in the New Testament was a person who lived in Judaea regardless of their race or religion.
The English word Jew is short for Judaean – one who was a resident of Judaea in the Bible, that’s all.
As we see in Scripture, Jesus was not a Jew because He was not a Judaean or resident of Judaea. Christ was born in Bethlehem, but He did not remain in Judaea:
Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh. And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way. And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the LORD appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the LORD by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son. Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men. Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying, In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not. But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the LORD appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child’s life. And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel. But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee: And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene. Matthew 2:1-23
In Scripture, Jesus was not a Jew or Judaean, He was a Galilean, more specifically a Nazarene.
He was born in Bethlehem which is in Judaea. Yet they left Judaea, and then later after leaving Egypt, Joseph took Mary and Jesus to Nazareth in Galilee to live.
Judaea and Galilee were two separate geographical and political provinces:
Judaea was southern Palestine and Galilee was northern Palestine, separated by Samaria. Jesus Himself was not a Jew (Judaean) or resident of Judaea, He was a Nazerene, or resident of Nazareth in Galilee.
Here are a some examples of how all four Gospels attest to this:
Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee. Matthew 26:69
And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. Mark 1:9
And when they had performed all things according to the law of the LORD, they returned into Galilee, to their own city Nazareth. Luke 2:39
Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee? John 7:41
Throughout all four Gospels, Jesus was never known as a Jew or Judaean, but a Galilean.
Neither was Jesus a Jew in the sense of those who call themselves ‘Jews’ today. Those who call themselves Jews today are descendants of the Canaanite nations of Genesis chapter 15 and are mostly Edomites. The Edomites are descendants of Esau who race mixed with the daughters of Heth- the Hittites (Genesis 26:34-35).
Though he was supposedly married, in the book of Hebrews, we still have the Apostle Paul calling Esau a “fornicator” due to his race mixing:
And Esau was forty years old when he took a wife Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Bashemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite: Which were a grief of mind unto Isaac and to Rebekah. Genesis 26:34-35
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the LORD: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears. Hebrews 12:14-17
Those who call themselves “Jews” today are products of fornication, some of the most race mixed individuals in existence, they are counterfeits whom God hates. We find God’s hatred for Edom (the genetic offspring of Esau) outlined many places in Scripture, such as these:
The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the LORD God concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle. Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen: thou art greatly despised. The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground? Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD. Obadiah 1-4
For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head. For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been. But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it. Obadiah 15-18
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. Ye serpents, ye generation (race) of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation (race). Matthew 23:29-36
Those calling themselves Jews today are the descendants of Edomites (among these scribes and Pharisees) whom God condemned in Obadiah, Matthew chapter 23, and in many other places throughout the Bible. Jesus Christ recognized them too as objects of God’s severe anger and condemnation, and as those who will continue to “fill up” and one day “drink” His cup of wrath.
So neither is Jesus Christ a Jew as those who call themselves ‘Jews’ today either.
Throughout Scripture, Christ is referred to as the Son or Seed of David. We have the physical description of David in the Bible.
David was described as a White man, using the same Hebrew word we get Adam/man from:
And the LORD God formed man (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance #120 from #119 to show blood in the face..turn rosy) of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7
And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither. And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance #132 ad-mo-nee from #119 reddish… complexion) and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the Lord said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he. Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah. I Samuel 16:11-13
Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh. Romans 1:3
The truth is Jesus Christ wasn’t a Jew, He was a White man “of the SEED of David, ACCORDING TO THE FLESH.”
If race doesn’t matter, why is it throughout Scripture?! Jesus Christ wasn’t some mixed race, so-called Jew. He was a pure Adamic/White Man – of the SEED of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, an Israelite, a Judahite, through David – who Scripture describes as “ruddy” – showing blood in the face. It can’t get any clearer than that.
We’ve been lied to once again. Jesus wasn’t a Jew – He was a White Man. When will our people stop worshiping the Jews who are the declared enemies of God under His impending wrath? White man or woman:
Worship the God Who created the White man and came to this earth as a White Man, and died exclusively for White people.
But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Matthew 15:24
Therefore, in the New Testament the word “Jew” is a geographical term, unlike today. Jesus was also not a Jew by religion. The Jews base their religion, not on the Torah or the first five Books of Moses, but on the Babylonian Talmud, which at that time would have been “the tradition of the elders.” Jesus’ whole ministry was at constant odds with the evils of Judaism, refuting their man-made traditions (Matthew 15:1-9).
So now let us consider the idea of Jesus being “The King of the Jews.”
Here are all the accounts in the four Gospels, where Pontius Pilate (the Roman Prefect) placed this title over Jesus Christ on the cross:
And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews. Matthew 27:37
And the superscription of his accusation was written over, The King Of The Jews. Mark 15:26
And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, This Is The King Of The Jews.
Yet it’s not until we get to the Gospel of John, we get ‘the full picture.’ Luke 23:38
And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was Jesus Of Nazareth The King Of The Jews. John 19:19
The accounts in the first three Gospels: Matthew, Mark and Luke, mention “King of the Jews” but do not contain the whole title. Not that the first three Gospels are contradictory to John, or have anything wrong. But the Gospel of John is a more complete account, since John himself was the only one of the Disciples actually present at the cross when Christ was crucified. In the King James Version the title is translated as “Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews.” It could have just as easily been translated: “Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Judaeans” as in for instance, “Queen Victoria of England, Empress of India.”
Though Christ was King of Judaeans (and of all for that matter), in the flesh He was a White Man who grew up and resided in Nazareth as a Galilean, not a Jew, plain and simple.
On closer observation it could be argued that the title placed over Christ’s head on the cross was actually meant as an insult to the Judaeans.
The Judaean enemies of Christ indeed took offense to it. But Pilate stood his ground:
This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin. Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews. Pilate answered, What I have written I have written. John 19:20-22
So again, Jesus grew up in Nazareth of Galilee. His Disciples were also from Galilee:
And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Acts 1:10-11
Exposed by Scripture is another big lie – Jesus was not a Jew in any way, He was a White Man.
Even today, though the Jews make it no secret how much they hate Christ, Christianity, and even the White race, they find it advantageous to claim Christ was a Jew, which endears White people to them. According to the Bible, you have clearly seen this cannot be true.
One may assert, “Well, what about ‘Jews for Jesus’ or ‘Messianic Jews’?” Not a one of them would want Jesus if they thought He was anything other than a Jew. They are nothing more than self-hating Jews, creating more confusion. Christ never tried to win any of them in His day, nor did the Apostles, and neither should we. For Christ proclaimed in John chapters 8 that they could not hear His Word or believe in Him, because they “are not of his sheep.”
