Perception, controls how we view things – not to mention how we live – and is why we may fail to ask the right questions. Consider the differences between truth and perception. Corporations, the media, politicians, even religious leaders (‘tentacles’ directed by the same agenda) prey upon our perception. The more of their lies we ‘swallow,’ the further from the truth we go. Perception can change but truth remains the same.
What would one do for instance, if the accepted ‘Official Reports’ of the JFK Assassination, 9/11, or even the Holocaust, turned out to be false? ‘Talk about a change in perception?! Learning truth changes perception, but nothing changes the truth.
‘What will some do when Christ doesn’t ‘sneak’ us out of here before the feces hits the fan?! The impact of our perceptions can have dire consequences. We must put our perceptions to the test by using the mind God gave us. We must shut out all other voices and think for ourselves. Sooner or later, we must face the truth.
Is your perception of Scripture, history and world events based on truth? Or could it be based mostly on television, movies and religion, especially if you’re not much of a reader. In this world (especially what’s transpired in the last hundred years) the ‘Official Stories’ are never to be questioned because the masses have been deceived into perceiving things a certain way. Yet to Almighty God – truth is truth.
There was once a powerful Roman prefect named Pilate who one day had the Truth Himself standing before him. How would you have handled this if you were Pilate? Imagine being someone of power… suddenly you’re looking into the eyes of God Incarnate. Pilate may have thought he was in charge of this, in the beginning. But the longer he faced the Truth, the more he realized it was a whole other story.
28 Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover. 29 Pilate then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye against this man? 30 They answered and said unto him, If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up unto thee. 31 Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death: 32 That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die. 33 Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews? 34 Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me? 35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done?36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. 38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.
The truth might not turn out to be what we think it is, but exactly what is best.
Though Pilate tried to put the Truth off and was even supposed to reject and condemn the Truth, he couldn’t do it. He faced the Truth and it humbled him to introspection. It was necessary only for the Truth to identify Himself to Pilate. Pilate in turn found no fault with the Truth. He heard His voice.
Christ makes the absolute statement, “Everyone that is of the truth, heareth my voice.” So then the reverse must be true: everyone that is not of the truth, heareth not His voice. Obviously not every one is of the truth. Are you “of the truth”? You must hear His voice.
Christ didn’t say,”Everyone who believes the truth.” He said, “Everyone that is of the truth” – speaking of the origin of those who are able to hear His voice. According to Christ, those who hear His voice are of the truth. All others who cannot hear His voice are of corruption.
In the world today, asking questions is fast becoming a crime. Yet we must not settle for any shallow perception. Like Pilate, we must acknowledge our ignorance and ask, “What is truth?”
45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. 46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
Every word that Jesus Christ spoke was truth. However, as we’ve already seen, some cannot hear His voice because they are not from of the truth therefore, neither can they believe the truth. Notice the reason Christ gave for them not believing Him – because He told them the truth. Obviously the truth repels those who are not of it. Are you afraid of the truth? Why would hearing the truth, trouble you?
Christ points out how one’s perception is wrong if it does not agree with the truth.
Only those who are of the truth can hear His voice and believe the truth. Therefore, when someone attempts to use Scripture to try and refute Scripture, it merely exposes their false perception of the truth – and maybe their origin. There are no contradictions in God or His Word. We must face the truth to find out what we don’t know about ourselves and about God.
Never fear the truth for that is not of God. For the more we align our lives with the truth, the better off we’ll be. Sooner or later the truth will bear out. And if our perception is not in line with it, we will suffer the consequences. Why not face the truth now, rather than waiting until you have too.
In America, we want to be ‘spoon fed’ our religion, our view of history, and world events. We are heavily influenced to question everything within the first one hundred years of this nation, even the Christian character of our Founding Fathers. But by the same voices we are warned never to question what we’ve been brainwashed to believe about the last one hundred years. We’re now ‘officially’ living in a society where most refuse to think for themselves. By letting others do our thinking, we are doing exactly what the enemy wants. People would rather be entertained, then engage their minds in something that’s real. Yet all of God’s people must give an account to Him, as to what we did with the Bible.
Most supposed Bible experts could care less about people – unless of course you order their ‘new ‘ book and/or DVD series. ‘Big time’ so-called ‘christianity’ in America has become very lucrative, highly political, and is powerfully influencial. The ‘tribal entities’ who propel these ‘puppets’ before the popular masses, have an antiChristian agenda.
6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. 7 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread. 8 Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread? 9 Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? 10 Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? 11 How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
The common people of Judaea perceived the scribes and Pharisees to be the experts of Scripture – they told the people what to think and were not to be questioned. These grubby-handed leaders controlled the cultural mindset of the people. Therefore the people perceived their religious leaders to be almost infallible, never to be questioned. This was the popular, assumed perception – but was it the truth?
Then, God in human flesh, Jesus Christ comes on the scene. All He taught helped the people and brought meaning to Scripture (then, only the Old Testament). The people were astonished at His doctrine. They’d spent their whole lives up ’til then listening to these religious leaders. But when Christ came along, it was the first time they’d ever heard the whole truth!
They thought it was new, but it wasn’t – it was truth – unfiltered.
The religious leaders were outraged. For what Christ was teaching was destroying the people’s perception of them. Therefore they wanted to kill Him in order to protect the power structure they’d established, based on the perceptions with which they’d manipulated the people. Whether we want to face it or not, we are in the same predicament today.
We are living in a culture that depends upon fabricated perceptions which oppose the truth.
Do you sense something’s not quite right in this once great land? As an American taxpayer, do you really believe you’re free? Only when we face the truth is the potential for freedom possible. Most don’t seem to need it – right now. This is why we are losing yet, another nation.
What the so-called ‘conservative’ talk show hosts, politicians, and even most pastors are promoting is not the knowledge of the truth. It is a calculated perception, that ‘Conservative Christians’ are allowed to think belongs to them, according to the corporate entities that control and finance all these ministries, talk shows, and campaigns. Yet Christ came into this world to bear witness to the truth TO THOSE WHO ARE OF THE TRUTH! Therefore we cannot allow those who are not of the truth to continue to keep us from it any longer.
Abortion is murder, that is the truth. But there are pro-abortion leaders from both major political parties, fabricating a perception by ‘calling’ themselves Christians. Plus, we’ve had fabricated ‘conservative’ Republican president after fabricated ‘conservative’ Republican president, who never intended to even make a dent in Roe vs. Wade.
Homosexuality is an abomination to Yahweh, that is the truth.Yet the media and Hollywood are constantly rubbing this filth in the faces of Christian families. While there are leaders on both sides of the aisle, who fabricate a perception of themselves by saying (in the name of Christ), “It’s not right for us to judge” while supporting same-sex marriage. The only way for this madness to stop is for us to face the Truth!
Then you have our 2nd Amendment rights, the right to bear arms. This is also opposed by many Republicans, especially those in bigger cities, who have the most influence, like the former Republican mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg. The so-called ‘conservative’ GOP isn’t what it’s perceived to be and none of the candidates are any different. It’s time to face the Truth, repent, and expose these corrupt perceptions by turning them off!
Plus, every Christian should know that CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, and yes Fox News, are nothing short of communist propaganda machines. All these big media agencies are in the business of hiding more truth than they’re telling. If you’re counting on anyone to tell you the truth on television, you’re deceiving yourself.
It’s ‘television programming‘ – think about that word, programming. The goal of television company owners and producers is not to entertain, but to control your perception, leading us to think and act any way that is contrary to the truth. Therefore in varying degrees, we’ve all been programmed. Now it’s time to confess our blindness and face the truth.
13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.
Indeed “all of this evil has come upon us”as well. We must learn from the mistakes of our ancestors and one by one, destroy all these programmed perceptions and seek to come to the knowledge of the truth. Seeking the truth is a personal choice you must make for yourself and your family:
30 I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.
Like the Psalmist, are you prepared to make this personal declaration? For the more we choose to follow the truth, the more we recognize the difference between what is truly Christian and what is merely a false perception.
II TIMOTHY 3:1-7
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
We must face the truth that dangerous times are here.
If we’re going to endure, we must repent of our ignorance and seek the knowledge of the truth. America is abundantly religious and intellectual. Yet we’re becoming more and more destitute of the truth. Among many things this is saying that the later it gets, the more difficult it will be to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Jesus Christ said to Pontius Pilate: “My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into this world…” – that Christ should offer the kingdom to the Jews? No, those are men’s words, that is a false perception. For Christ Himself goes on to proclaim that the purpose of His birth was “that I should bear witness to the truth.”
Pilate then responded, “What is truth?” – do you really want to know? If we go through this life, ignoring the seriousness of learning the truth, then we’ve missed the purpose for Christ coming into the world.
